Topic: Generation Rx and the Science of Addiction

Medicines help us to live longer and healthier lives, but when misused, can be just as dangerous and addictive as illicit drugs. This interactive session will explore the science behind prescription drug misuse and the disease of addiction. Additionally, participants will learn how to model and promote safe medication-taking practices at home and in the community.
