South West MESS 2023: Trylon Mentor Program Application
South West MESS is returning to Warrnambool in 2023!

Trylon is a new offering for 2023. A select group of experienced young electronic sound artists will be able to build and refine their sonic creation skills. This multi-day mentorship program focuses on solidifying the creative and career skills every artist needs to take their work to the world. Open to young people aged 16-26 years from the South West only.

Trylon is suitable for young people who have some experience producing electronic sound and music. Throughout the week, you'll use a choice selection of iconic instruments from the MESS collection to develop a track to be shared at a listening session with your peers and program mentors.

If you took part in the 2022 South West MESS Student program - this will be a great next step!

Participation in the South West MESS Trylon program is by application only. By filling in this application form, we'll get in touch in early April to confirm your place and share more details.

To apply you need to meet the following requirements:

Be aged between 16 and 25 years
- Live in one of the following Local Government Areas: Colac Otway, Corangamite, Glenelg, Moyne, Southern Grampians, Warrnambool
- Be available for a week of face-to-face learning from April 29 to May 6 in Warrnambool

Note: If you're totally new or just getting started in electronic sound, you might be interested in our Sphere Student Program for music and creative sound students and young people up to 25 years.
