Our promotional ceremony is just seven months away, and there is so much to do and plan for. Among the many things we need to consider is how you would like your child's name to appear on the diploma. Please indicate below the exact way in which you wish your 8th-grade student(s) name to appear on the diploma.
Only the following name formats are allowed on diplomas:
John Thomas Smith
John T. Smith
John Smith
John Smith IV
This form must be completed no later than Thursday, December 15, 2022. We will print their name exactly as it appears on our school computer database if the form is not filled out. The name cannot be altered after it has been entered.
All students will wear red gowns at the Promotion. If your child has a gown from a sibling, have your child bring the gown to Mrs. Sabatini's office (Guidance Secretary) for approval.
The cost of the gown & diploma/cover is $24.00. If you only need to buy the diploma/cover, the cost is $11.00. Students do not wear CAPS, this is reserved for high school and college.
The choices for payment are as follows.
2. Checks made payable to "Carl W. Goetz Middle School". Have your child bring in the check to his/her homeroom teacher no later than January 6, 2023.
3. We also accept cash and money orders. Have your child give them to their homeroom teacher no later than January 6. 2023.
If you prefer to mail in your check, the check should be made out to Carl. W. Goetz Middle School. Please send it to Carl. W. Goetz Middle School, 835 Patterson Rd., Jackson, NJ 08527, Attn. Mrs. Sabatini.
