2025 First Friday Merchant Participation Form

Thank you so much for your interest in First Friday. We are excited to connect our community to the creative arts, and offer our residents and visitors a way to experience Downtown New Albany in a whole new way. Our goal with this event is to create a low barrier of entry for our residents and New Albany visitors to experience so much of what we have to offer. By creating a "third space," visitors can check out shops and bars and restaurants while also tapping into our arts community. 

Our Goals:

  1. Increase targeted traffic. People coming to NA for a cultural experience are more likely to have a core value of spending money locally.

  2. Create an interactive event that is for EVERYONE. This event is not specifically targeted to only 21+ or only families. Our hope is that by extending the hours downtown, there will be more crossover of audiences.

  3. Increase sales. We want people to spend their dollars downtown. Small purchases add up, and creating an environment that introduces new people to what downtown has to offer - with a low spend requirement will also let them know there are experiences for all budgets in downtown NA!

What we need from you
  1. Please fill this form entirely. We would like to see all vendors participate in as many dates as possible for consistency of this event. The more our guests can rely on this event to happen every month to its fullest capacity, the more likely it will catch on.
  2. Send us information about your business! Photos are great. Links are awesome. Videos are even better! We will share this out to our community. Please make sure to upload a high-res version of your logo. 
  3. Send us information about your creative experience. If you are hosting an artist, we want to know! If you are putting up a selfie booth outside your shop because you don't have the space to host an artist AWESOME! Not all creative experiences are visual arts. Ask us for help if you need inspiration or support. 
We believe this could be a great value addition to our community. We are so excited you are interested in participating.
