Dear East High Families:

Parents or guardians who pick their child(ren) up at dismissal time (or mid-day for AM Kindergarten pickup) will be required to display a school-issued student identification car rider tag. The card will list the child(ren) the adult picks up regularly as well as their grade levels and will be slipped over the passenger side visor to be flipped down during pick up time. Families can request up to two (2) tags per household for use by parents and guardians or another designated driver.

Starting on the first day of school, parents or guardians, as well as anyone else who does not have a school-issued student identification car rider tag will be asked to park in the lot and go to the front office to pick up a student. If a note is submitted to the office at the beginning of the day for a change in transportation, children may still be picked up in the car rider line.  However, photo identification will be requested from the driver when there is a change of pick up for the day, even with a note.

A new car rider tag for the 2021-2022 school year needs to be issued by the office.  You will need to pre-register for a car rider tag by filling out the Google Form that is located on East High’s page on the district website.  You can also find the form in the Family Flyer that will be sent to families soon.  

The school office will disperse car rider tags during the week of August 16-20, 2021 from 8:00-4:00 PM.  Families who register for a car rider tag before Wednesday, August 18th will receive their tag during open house on Thursday, August 19th from 2:00-3:30 PM.  The tags will be located in your child's classroom.
 Parents/Guardians are the only individuals who can pick up car rider tags.  Please bring a Photo ID when picking up the tags.   Kindergarten Families can also pick up car rider tags during their child’s scheduled kindergarten conferences on August 23-27, 2021.
