This workshop provides an applied complement to the first Teaching & Learning Talk of the new school year. Please join STLI for a hands-on workshop about how you can incorporate experiential learning practices into your courses. Learn small ways to improve student engagement through a variety of experiential learning opportunities. We'll touch on the main themes from the Teaching & Learning Talk, give you three quick ideas to get started with experiential learning (without leaving the classroom!), and reserve time for developing ideas, informal conversation, and consultation. You'll leave with a plan in-hand for your next steps.
