Payment: Payments can be made online at www.schoolpay.com. In-person payments can be made at Herod's main office. A payment plan is available to you as a convenience.                   Fall semester payment due dates:                                                                                                                                   August 22, 2022 - $250                                                           October 14, 2022 - $250                                                                                                                                                                        Spring semester payment due dates:                                                                                                                             January 9, 2023 - $250                                                             March 10, 2023 - $250  Failure to meet your financial obligations will result in the student not being eligible for the Extended Day program. Please make checks payable to Herod Elementary. All returned checks will be handled directly by the district controller’s office located at 4400 w. 18th Street, Houston, Texas 77092. *
No Extended Day: There will be no Extended Day on November 18, 2022, December 21, 2022, March 10, 2023 and May 31, 2023. *
Dismissal: Students must be picked up by 5:30pm. Designated pick-up persons must come to the main office to sign out the student. Students will be called to the main office by the Extended Day office staff. Please be prompt in getting here by 5:30pm. A late charge of $1 per minute will be assessed after 5:30pm. *Late pickup fees must be paid within two days of incurring the charge. Late fees cannot be paid online. Failure to pay late pick-up fees and/or three late departures will result in the student not being eligible for the Extended Day program. **Dismissal procedures are subject to change. *
Conduct: Herod Elementary's standard rules of student conduct apply to Extended Day activities. Two documented occurrences of misbehavior will result in the student not being eligible for the Extended Day program. *
Change in Pickup: If it is necessary for your child to be picked up by someone other than a parent or designated person, please notify Ms. Richard, drichar3@houstonisd.org, in writing giving permission and the name of the responsible party. Students will not be allowed to go home with another child without written permission from the parent. *
