New Student Elective Request Form - 6th Grade

Welcome to Eisenhower! We are excited to meet and support you this school year. Please complete the following Elective Request Form so we can do our best to place you in something you might enjoy. Elective placements are based on availability and program need and are not guaranteed.

All sixth graders have two elective course options: the Wheel and our Music Program.

The Wheel allows students to move through four of five different electives (e.g., art, drama, music, Spanish, or S.T.E.M.) throughout the course of the school year. These courses are randomly assigned by our computer system and provide students an opportunity to sample electives they may be interested in pursuing more in depth later on in middle school.

Classes in our award winning Music Program are self-selected and led by amazing directors who will support students at any experience level in learning and having fun. Music classes can also help create an immediate sense of community for new sixth graders. Students can choose between Band, Chorus, and Orchestra.
