The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn from and work with the CMW faculty and be involved in all aspects of the Creative Music Workshop summer intensive. The position includes free participation in the summer intensive program and a $500 honorarium.

Who should apply?
Musicians and/or movement-based artists with a background in improvisation and an active teaching practice
Individuals willing to work as a member of a team
Individuals who are creative, flexible, adaptive and possess strong interpersonal skills
Artists who are available to be in the Halifax Regional Municipality for the entire workshop period (July 8-16, 2023)
Familiarity with the CMW is an asset, but not a requirement.
What are the duties and responsibilities of the Fellowship?
Attend 1-2 online faculty planning meetings leading up to the CMW
Fully participate in the CMW alongside faculty, including preparation meetings at the beginning and end of each day
Provide support to the faculty as needed including co-leading sessions, providing feedback to students, assisting with instrument-specific teaching, helping to lead ensembles under faculty direction
Attend a post-CMW debrief meeting with the core faculty
