IMPORTANT INFORMATION for consideration when nominating:

Coaching any team representing your country is an honour but it also comes with responsibility. Please ensure that you understand and agree with the 2019 HAMC Coaching Position description, 2019 Player Selection Policy and 2019 Selectors Procedures.

The estimated tour costs DO NOT cover airfares but do include land costs (not airport transfers), hotels and team contributions. You must be aware that there may be additional costs involved; a draft budget will be handed to you when the team is announced. Coaches and Assistant Coaches nominating must also be aware of all other conditions of nominations.

Players, Coaches and Managers must attend a training camp held in Australia prior to the tournament the estimated cost for this is approximately $450.00 (cost equalization) and is based on home players billeting interstate players. This has NOT been included in the estimated tour costs. Attendance at the training camp is compulsory. Training camps will be held at a suitable time given the tour program and you will be advised as soon as practical. Given the timings of the 2020 Program we intend to incorporate a training camp for all the age groups apart from the 35’s and 40’s as part of the 2020 National championships.
Do not nominate for selection if you are unable to comply with these requirements.

Teams will be responsible for their own flight arrangements. You will be responsible to be at the nominated team meeting point at the specified date and time.

Coaching and Managers EOIs close SUNDAY 1st SEPTEMBER.
As part of the process applicants may be required to participate in a selection panel interview.

Assistant coaches where selected are on a user pay system.
In all cases tax advice from a qualified practitioner is available at no cost.
All unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email as soon as the selection process has been completed.

Coaches Agreement on the form:
* The payment of a $500.00 deposit on confirmation of selection. (Payment by Thursday 31st October 2019, failure to do so may result in being removed from the team). Ongoing instalments will be required to be paid in accordance with team requirements as outlined on selection. Official flight confirmation (and travel insurance) will be required to be given to the manager when requested.

* If selected, I will be available at the times/dates advised in the information provided with this nomination form.

* If selected, I undertake to attend the training camp prior to departure.

* I have read and understand the Hockey Australia Code of Conduct and the FIH Code of Conduct and agree to be bound by these while ever I am representing Hockey Australia Masters.

* I understand that participation for all players and officials is on a user pay basis and if selected, I undertake to pay all costs involved in being a member of a Hockey Australia Masters Men’s Team.  I am aware any costs incurred for early departure from the World Cup, whether relating to personal reasons or breach of Code of Conduct will be at my expense.
