CONFIRMATION OCTOBER SESSIONĀ
Welcome! If you are reading this, it means that you are unable to attend the October Confirmation Session in person. During this class, we are covering the Mass and the Liturgical Year. As a Confirmed member of the Catholic Church, it is important to note that you are obligated to attend Mass on Sundays and on all Holy Days of Obligation. It is also important to understand the colors, symbols, and order of Mass so that you are able to engage more with the Mass, understand more about it, and let it have a deeper impact on your life. Mass is ultimately about what we bring to it rather than what it gives us, though, so we should always cherish the opportunity to spend time in worship.

For our opening prayer, we are reciting the Gloria. During Mass, the Gloria may be sung or spoken.

Glory to God in the highest and
On Earth peace to people of goodwill.
Lord God, Heavenly King, God Almighty Father.
We praise you,
We bless you,
We adore you,
We glorify you,
We give you thanks for your great glory.
Lord Jesus Christ, only begotten Son.
Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father.
You take away the sins of the world,
Have mercy on us.
You take away the sins of the world,
Receive our prayer.
You are seated at the right hand of the Father,
Have mercy on us.
For you alone are the holy one,
You alone are the Lord,
You alone are the most high,
Jesus Christ.
With the Holy Spirit,
In the Glory of God the Father.
Amen.
