ShaLeigh Dance Works presents the Virtual Premiere of The In-Between with Artist Talk Back. We are excited to offer a live viewing of this piece, followed by a virtual talk back with the artists, dancers, and collaborators involved in the show. The In-Between is an evening-length work of dance, theatre, sound, and design encompassing the very real complexity of identity, feminism, race, and queerness as the embodiment of what it means to be human.

This new work was scheduled to premiere March 13-15, 2020 at Durham Fruit & Produce Co., the weekend that social distancing orders were announced. After careful consideration and dwindling audiences, we decided to live-stream the show each night and take professional video to ensure the documentation of this exciting work that was created for live audiences. We are looking forward to viewing this piece together and hope you’ll join us for this special event from the safety and comfort of your own home!
