This Work Group brings together participant schools who wish to develop a teaching for mastery approach to implement the DFE KS3 Guidance. Each school should identify two teachers (preferably one being the KS3 lead) who initially develop their own practice and are empowered by their HoD to start to bring about changes within the department.

Who is this professional development suitable for?

Two teachers from a secondary maths department (preferably one being the KS3 lead)

Time commitment: 5 half day afternoon sessions and 5 school visits(blended).

You will receive £2000 for release time of 2 advocates.
