Child Life Disaster Relief Service/Training Request Form
Mission: To empower and support children and families in crisis by integrating Child Life professionals’ services into impacted communities.  Through individualized direct services, community outreach, education, and research, Child Life Disaster Relief mitigates the effects of traumatic events on children and families.

Services :

  • Trainings are available for adults (first responders, parents, caregivers and professionals who work with children) that focus on mitigating trauma and offer practical tips to support children after a crisis/disaster.  Basic and advanced trainings, based on CLDR's Trauma Mitigation Model, are customized to meet the needs of the audience.
  • "Coping Through Connections" offers direct (or virtual) support for groups of children/teens affected by disasters
  • Easy-reference resources for supporting children of all developmental levels following a disaster are tailored specifically for your community's recovery needs.
