Safe Haven are faith-based recovery homes that follow a 12 Step model. Our organization is a for-profit program supported by residents that are self-supporting and contributing members of society. Our goal is to help people that struggle with the disease of addiction and want a new way of life. We believe that miracles happen and lives can be changed.

Rental agreement is due on the first not later than the fifth, at first some residents pay bi-monthly on the 1st & 15th We provide a bed & utilities. Safe Haven offers $350 for a semi-private room or $400 for a private room. It is the residents' responsibility to provide their own food, hygiene, bedding and lockbox (if they take medications.) Depending on your intake date we can adjust the first months rent. *

$150 deposit can hold the bed, and keep you on the waitlist- resident is responsible for $200 in 14 days.

Required

Residents have a 10 p.m. curfew (unless proof is provided they are working), are subject to random drug/alcohol tests, and are required to keep their area and common areas clean and tidy. Residents are not allowed in bars or casinos and will be asked to depart if they are engaging in unacceptable or unlawful behavior. *

Safe Haven Homes follows a 12 Step model. Residents are required to keep a meeting sheet (at least 3 meetings a week), work the Steps with a Sponsor and attend mandatory 6 p.m. Tuesday House meetings. If your employment impedes this requirement, you will be responsible to set up a face-to-face meeting with Dan or Amy. Progress Reports are due monthly. *

If a resident is unable to work (or until they find work) they are required to do 10 documented community service hours at Midland Height Church (ie. after school snack program, clothes closet, church cleaning, light clerical work, Saturday community meal, etc.). There are plenty of opportunities available. *

We have 1 home for ladies and 2 homes for gentlemen. Residents usually stay for at least a year, however, we do not have a fixed timeframe. Safe Haven may not be a good fit for everyone and if it is not, once you arrive we will help you with a list of other resources/opportunities. *
