VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT

This Volunteer Agreement is a description of the arrangement between us, (Eco Rangers NI), and you (the volunteer) in relation to your voluntary work. The intention of this agreement is to assure you that we appreciate your volunteering with us and to indicate our commitment to do the best we can to make your volunteer experience with us a positive and rewarding one. It is a confirmation statement and disclaimer that all activities undertaken by a volunteer are of their own responsibility and that no responsibility lies with Eco Rangers NI.

Part 1 Eco Rangers NI

We, Eco Rangers NI, accept the voluntary service of you (name on this contact form) beginning (date form is completed). Your role as a volunteer is as an Eco Ranger NI.

This work is designed to carry out litter picking, protect the environment and contribute to civic pride.

We commit to the following:

• To provide induction on the work of Eco Rangers NI its committee, your volunteering role and the equipment necessary to assist you in meeting the responsibilities of your volunteering role.

• To define appropriate standards of our services, to communicate them to you, and to encourage and support you to achieve and maintain them as part of your voluntary work. • To provide a committee member contact when you need it, who will be available to you to discuss your volunteering and any questions. • To provide a committee member or suitable appointed Eco Ranger volunteer as a point of contact at any organised ‘Big Clean’. • To do our best to help you develop your volunteering role with us and to be flexible in how we use your volunteering. • To provide adequate advice our our health and safety policy and child protection policy (a copy of which is available from the committee).

• To provide adequate insurance cover for Eco Rangers NI whilst recognising all work taken by individuals is of a voluntary nature and Eco Rangers NI does not hold any responsibility for any individuals chosen activity. • To ensure that all volunteers are dealt with in accordance with equal opportunities law. • To endeavour to resolve in a fair and just manner any problems, grievances or difficulties which may be encountered while you volunteer with us.
