F&B Communications is bringing fiber high-speed Internet to your home!

Good news! The fiber Internet upgrade in your area is moving forward. Our contractor, AE Underground, assisted by our engineering firm FARR Technologies, is scheduled to begin construction this summer

Please complete this Construction Acknowledgement to allow our crews to install an underground fiber optic drop line from the roadside to your home. There is no cost or obligation to subscribe to our service to have the fiber optic drop cable installed during the initial construction phase. Even if you don’t intend to subscribe to service from F&B Communications, we hope you will still provide permission to bury the fiber drop should you or a future homeowner wish to subscribe to service. Please complete this form as soon as possible so our crews can remain on schedule.

Prior to construction beginning on your property, our contractor will be contacting Iowa One Call to have underground utilities marked. If you are aware of private service lines or underground fuel tanks and gas lines on your property, we ask that you note them on this form so they can be avoided during construction.

Building a new fiber network is a multi-step process. Once the initial construction is completed, crews will begin the delicate process of splicing the cables together followed by subscriber activation. We anticipate subscriber activation to occur in 2024.
