Curious in critiquing a work of art from the AGW collection and get paid to do it? Critique the #AGW Collection for Cash is back and looking for new points of view!

The AGW is seeking individuals who want to learn how to look at art through a critical lens, all while learning from, and interacting with other queer artists, writers, and creatives in the Windsor and Essex County region.

Using this form, submit your interest in participating in this project by writing a two-sentence summary of 1 work from the AGW collection that you might want to review. You can search out collection online here: www.agw.ca/search.

Selected writers will have the chance to participate in an online workshop on how to look at art through a critical lens, led by Amilcar Nogueira. The selected entrants will create their own review or response to an artwork from the AGW collection and in exchange, get paid $40! Works will be posted on the #AGW social media account. Final reviews could be a drawing, written work, film, or photographs...
