Youth Justice Lab 2022
The Youth Justice Lab, organized by the North Shore Restorative Justice Society, is a collaborative skill-building opportunity for youth ages 13 - 24 residing on the North Shore. In this 8-week program you will have the opportunity to connect with other youth and explore the current systems of power and oppression. We will be asking ourselves what are the skills, knowledge and relationships we need to create the world we want to live in, in this journey through justice?

As a participant, you will:
- Meet with your cohort for 7 sessions
- You will have the option to participate as part of either a virtual or in-person cohort
- Develop leadership, mediation, teamwork, and communication skills
- Connect to and learn from a wide range of community and thought leaders
- Plan and lead an independent project to address social issues you care about
- Gain knowledge about restorative justice and its applications in various situations
- Receive a diploma of completion at graduation
- Receive a $100 bursary for full attendance in all sessions
- Receive volunteer hours
