**  Active Coach Qualified is a BR Level2 or above certified and registered coach who is doing a significant number (>30 per year) of volunteer (unpaid) coaching sessions at the club, preferably associated with a squad. As a benefit this affords them full access to general club facilities and rowing equipment. The expectation is that the Coach is developing members rowing skills on an ongoing basis.

Use this form if you are enquiring about rowing membership, or applying for rowing membership. You will receive an automatic email confirming your membership application/enquiry. You will be contacted by the Vice Captain to follow-up on your request.

The normal process for application is in 4 stages :

1.  Enquiry about Membership - all enquiries should be made via the this form, selecting the enquiry option, and you will be contacted to arrange the next step.
2.  Introduction to Falcon - a face to face meeting at the club where we will explain how the club works, understand your needs and expectations and determine the most suitable next step. Falcon operates a mixture of squad based sessions and individually arranged outings and it's important to understand how these will meet the applications needs. This is a mandatory step before applications for membership will be accepted.
3. Application for Membership and payment - if you are still interested in joining the club you will then need to make a membership application, using the same form, this time selecting the application option. You will then be sent an invoice and, once paid you are a member of Falcon Boat Club.
4. Getting Started - having attended the aforementioned "Introduction to Falcon" session this should have provided you with the information you need to get started, including identifying which squad(s) you could participate in and who to speak to. There is also a lot of information on the club website under Rowers/FAQ and Rowers/Useful Links that explain how the club runs. You will receive a welcome letter by email and if you have purchased a Fob you will need to contact the membership secretary to arrange collection, usually at the club.
