The application DEADLINE is April 30, 2024. After this date we will no longer accept applications to complete an evaluation. Coaches who apply in time will receive a topic and information on how to complete the requirements. You will have approximately 30 days to complete this by submitting a session plan + practical session video.
All submissions need to be completed no later than June 30th, 2024 (no exceptions).
Due to the transition and upgrading of the C Diploma content by Canada Soccer, coaches wishing to progress in the pathway who do not complete their evaluation in time or do not meet a successful passing grade, will need to re-take the new C Diploma course.
BC Soccer will assign you an Evaluator and a session topic with these evaluation requirements:
- You MUST have access to a group of players or your team (12-18 players) to work with preferably between the ages of U12-U16 (male or female).
- Submit a full session plan based on your assigned topic before you deliver your session.
- You will need to coordinate a pre-brief meeting (via video conference call) with your Evaluator prior to delivering your session to review your practice plan and discuss how best to deliver your practical on-field session.
- Capture audio/video footage of a 25-30 minute session (sync'd audio and video file) and submit it to BC Soccer for review.
You will be provided with further instructions on how to successfully submit your video session once your application has been approved.
