RWR endeavors to place each of our dogs into their forever home. Each question below helps ensure the dog you are applying for will be the best fit for your family. The more information you can provide, the better we are able to make sure this will be a good match. We receive many applications for every dog in our rescue and since we are a small rescue staffed by part-time unpaid volunteers, once you submit an application and photos, please allow 7 -10 days for a reply.

PLEASE ANSWER ALL APPLICABLE QUESTIONS...The rescue may not be able to process your application if it contains incomplete or conflicting information.

OUR ADOPTION/FOSTER PROCESS:

  1. FILL OUT this Adoption/Foster Application.
  2. EMAIL home, yard and fence photos to connellpetrescue@gmail.com that shows where the dog will be spending the majority of their time. In SUBJECT LINE, please include the adopter name and the name of the dog in which you are applying...John Smith - Fido.
  3. VET BACKGROUND CHECKS will be done. Please let your current vet know we will be calling.
  4. If all the above is approved by our adoption team, a MEET & GREET will be scheduled.
  5. If the dog and the adopter are a good match, we will FINALIZE THE ADOPTION.

NOTE: There is NO guarantee of adopting/fostering from RWR at any step in the process. We are a match making organization. We do not adopt or foster on a first come, first serve basis. Our priority is finding the right home for the dogs in our rescue.  Sorry we are not available by phone.
