Congratulations on completing the NEDP and embarking on a path to change your life. 

CASAS and NEDP have established this scholarship opportunity to honor and support the next step to changing lives of NEDP clients. 

We will be awarding two $500 scholarships for tuition assistance to those who have completed all the requirements of the NEDP between July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024

Scholarships are available to attend an accredited public or nonprofit postsecondary institution that offers a vocational certificate, associate degree, or four-year degree. More details are available at NEDP.org/scholarship. 

To apply for the scholarship: 

1. Complete all parts of this electronic application.

2. Submit your application by midnight PT July 15, 2024. 

3. Request one letter of recommendation from your NEDP Advisor/Assessor. If your Advisor/Assessor is unavailable, please select another NEDP staff member. NEDP staff can complete the letter of recommendation at this link.

The letter of recommendation is due by midnight PT July 15, 2024.

CASAS/NEDP will send an acknowledgment receipt for the Changing Lives Scholarship application and for the letter of recommendation once submitted.

4. Recipients will be notified by email on August 15, 2024. 

5. If you are selected, you are required to sign a release form, sent to you by CASAS/NEDP, and provide a brief life story and picture for NEDP marketing purposes and a follow-up story at a later date. 

6. Upon enrollment and receipt of CASAS/NEDP release form, funds will be paid directly to the nonprofit postsecondary institution of your choice, as qualified above.
