•Registration cut-off is 10pm Friday May 17.
•You may sign up as an incomplete team, but you will only be able to play if others sign up as incomplete team. We cannot guarantee you will be able to compete unless you have a team of 4.
•Must have a minimum of 4 players to form your team.
•Your team may have an additional player acting as a substitute
•Each Player may only be on one team.

There is no cost for registration. Entry to the event is included with your pass to Otafest.

Check-in
•Brackets will be posted on Challonge by no later than 9 AM on Saturday May 18.
•Your full team must check in and be ready to play by 10 AM on your assigned game day (Saturday May 18 or Sunday May 19th depending on scheduling).
•Teams that are not present at the start of their match will be counted as a loss.
•Each player is required to bring their own Nintendo Switch Console, a copy of Splatoon 2 (updated to the current version) and their preferred controller.
•Switch docks, monitors and chat headsets will be provided by Otafest.
•You may use your own headset as well, but it must use a 3.5mm jack. (no bluetooth or USB headsets)

**Apple earbuds are not compatible with our audio setup.**

Scoring, Structure, and Winners
•Tournament structure will be determined by the number of registered teams.
   ••If 9 (or fewer) teams register, games will be played in a double elimination format.
   ••If 10 (or more) teams register, games will be played in a single elimination format.
•Best of 5 sets will be played with a variety of Ranked Battle modes (Tower Control / Clam Blitz / Splat Zones / Rainmaker ).
•Stage Selection: Stage selection will be pre-determined by the tournament organizers and announced before the bracket starts. Stages will be picked based on the current (month of May) maps that are offered in the ranked rotations.
•All weapons and gear are useable.

Disconnections Rules
•If there is any sort of disconnection during a match, the remaining players will play through until the end.  The match will count towards the teams win/loss scores.  No rematch will be held.If there is any sort of disconnection during a match, the remaining players will play through until the end.  The match will count towards the teams win/loss scores.  No rematch will be held.
•The tournament area will be using docks with a USB to Ethernet adapter to ensure a strong connection.
