Throwback 2023 Audition Request
As of 12/16 we  have 8 spots available - once they are gone we will add to the waitlist and contact you on the day of auditions (12/18) if additional slots open up

Use this form to request an audition for any/all of the following groups in Throwback 2023:
  • The Armando - Directed by Jen Scott, Assistant Director Matt Prindle
  • The Butch - Directed by Butch Roy, Assistant Director Ari Newman
  • The Free Association - Directed by Alexis Camille, Assistant Director Becky Hauser

AUDITIONS:
Auditions will be scheduled on Sunday, 12/18 from 1:00p-4:00p and Thursday, 12/22 from 7:00 - 9:00p on the HUGE stage. The cast will be announced on the HUGE Theater blog by Wednesday, 12/28.  If you are unable to audition on either date, please contact info@HUGETheater.com. 

Auditions for Throwback Night are open to all. We believe our stage should reflect our city - BIPOC performers are strongly encouraged to apply.

REHEARSALS:
All performers must be able to attend at least  6 of the 8 rehearsals for their form. 
  • The Armando will rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00p starting 1/4 through 2/22 at HUGE.
  • The Butch will rehearse on Sundays from 11:00 - 1:00p starting 1/8 through 2/26 at HUGE.
  • The Free Association will rehearse on Sundays from  6:00 - 8:00p starting 1/8 through 3/1 at HUGE.
PERFORMANCES:
Throwback Night will run on Fridays at 8:00p in March and April at HUGE Improv Theater. All performers must be able to be in at least 7 of the 9 shows. 

COVID POLICY: 
Currently HUGE requires proof of vaccination and strongly recommends masking at all times. We will follow these guidelines in auditions, rehearsals and performances. This policy is subject to change; requirements of the cast will reflect the policy HUGE has in place. 

PAY:
$150 for every performance over 70 in attendance to be split amongst the performers in all 3 casts. There is a minimum payout equal to one paying performance per month ($300) so no show ever makes $0 for their run.
