Fall 2020 Survey: STEM Professionals for Distance Inspiration to High School Students
HTH NextGen Stems [HTH NGS] connects students with professional role models that they may be inspired by and or identify with in order to support our students that are curious about further education and a profession in the fields of STEM.  Our group will predominantly feature speakers from traditionally underrepresented communities in STEM fields including people of color, people who are LGTBQA identified and women.

HTH NGS was launched in response to student demand during the Fall of 2019 as a lunch series. For the Fall of 2020, we look to expand the program with some more personalized mentorship opportunities in order to support our students craving more engagement  during the COVID-19 distance learning.

Developed by a coalition of San Diego civic leaders and educators, High Tech High is a small public charter school opened in September 2000 with a Project Based Learning approach to education. It is guided by four connected design principles—equity, personalization, authentic work, and collaborative design—that set aspirational goals and create a foundation for understanding our approach.
