Any employee from a MnSEIA member company can join committees to work alongside staff and support our initiatives. The expected time and responsibilities for each committee vary but is typically an hour or two of participation a month.

  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion - Create a more diverse and equitable solar + storage industry (Meets monthly year-round.)
  • Events - Help plan Member Meetings and other fun MnSEIA events throughout the year (Meets monthly year-round.)
  • Gateway to Solar - Suggest panels and keynotes, recruit new sponsors, and support staff on our annual conference (Meets twice a month from early May to October.)
  • Membership - Support staff in finding new members and retaining existing members (Meets monthly year-round.)
  • Nominating - Support MnSEIA's annual Board elections and recruit qualified candidates (Meets twice a month in the summer.)
  • Policy & Regulatory - Provide guidance on policy issues during the Legislative Session and input on regulatory dockets (Meets weekly throughout the year on Friday's. Attending each meeting is not required.)
  • Young Professionals Group - A NEW committee focused on providing networking and professional development opportunities for young professionals in the solar and storage industry.
