Democracy R&D 2025 Registration Form

The Democracy R&D Annual Conference is a gathering dedicated to strengthening the global community of practitioners working on deliberative democracy and citizens' assembliesThis conference offers a unique space for practitioners and researchers to connect, share practices, deepen collaboration, and reflect together on the challenges and opportunities of the field.

This year, the conference will take place in Brussels on 15–16 October 2025 and will be shaped around the theme “Crossroads”.  As deliberative practice spreads and evolves, this theme invites us to reflect on where we are heading, what values guide us, and how we navigate the tensions and possibilities that lie ahead.

Please note that this is a members-only conference. Limited space is reserved for potential new members interested to discover the network and practitioners working in the field. If you are not a member, we expect that you are referenced by at least one Democracy R&D member and demonstrate your work in democratic innovations, deliberative democracy and/or citizen's assemblies.

There will be a pre and post programme open to non-members on October 14 and 17.
