Core Forum DEI Committee Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Special Projects Showcase Proposal
The Core Diversity and Inclusion Committee is seeking presentation proposals for lightning talks for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Special Projects Showcase at Core Forum. Core Forum will take place at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center, October 13-15, 2022.  This session has been assigned to the Access & Equity program track, and will be presented on October 14, 2022 from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm Mountain Time. This session will be live and in-person only. All presenters must be in attendance. There is no virtual option.

Over the last few years, particularly since the 2020 summer of racial reawakening, many libraries have started special projects and initiatives to address diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism in our collections, technology, staffing and leadership. This presentation showcase will highlight some of the ongoing or completed projects by librarians at public, academic, and special libraries. Presenters will be selected to ensure that this showcase is of value to librarians and administrators in a wide variety of roles and from many types of libraries.

Proposals are due by Friday, September 9, 2022.
