AQ (Autisme Spectrum Quotient) questionnaire
This questionnaire examines autistic traits within an individual. It is a self-report questionnaire and that also means that not all scores may be reliable because the questions may not always be answered correctly by an autistic person.
It is therefore wise to fill in the AQ also by someone who knows the person in question with potentially autistic traits very well (e.g. the partner, close friend, family member).

The questionnaire was first published by Simon Barron-Cohen and his colleagues at the Cambridge-Autism Research Center as part of a widely cited study 'The Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ): Evidence from Asperger syndrome/high-functioning autism, males and females , scientists and mathematicians'; Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders vol 31, pages 5–17 (2001).

As a clinical neuropsychologist, I offer this service for the following reasons:
1. It is more customer-friendly this way: the questionnaire is easier and faster to complete on a mobile, computer or tablet than with the paper version. The scoring of the questionnaire is also much more reliable and faster.
2. By compiling this questionnaire you AGREE to participate in research to improve this AQ questionnaire. You also participate in research into the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder problems by people who read my website psychology-for-friendly-people.com.
3. With the rest of this questionnaire you will also go to AGREE to temporarily store your e-mail address. Please read the section on Privacy carefully below.

Privacy:
As a clinical neuropsychologist, I am bound by the professional code of our association NVGzP. This means that your data can be stored as anonymously as possible and I am subject to professional secrecy. My BIG registration number is 49050080925 and you can look me up in the BIG register: www.bigregister.nl.

To receive a report of the completed AQ, in a secure manner, you must be logged into your own Google account. You must also enter an e-mail address so that the system knows where to send the report.
N.B.: this e-mail address will be closed within 1 month, so that you will no longer be able to request a report afterwards, because it can no longer be traced who the stored data belongs to. If you have not received a report by e-mail, you can e-mail me at 3zpsychologie@gmail.com within 1 month after the establishment of the AQ.

Tip: If you really don't want your real email address to be revealed, create a fake gmail account so you can receive the report.
