The Art of the Online Lecture (2nd offering)
In the emergency transition from live and lecture based courses to online teaching, many faculty struggled with the time commitment and technical challenges of recording lectures and presenting material to their students in a successful way.
This new approach to the online lecture will guide you through how to translate your traditional live lecture to a format that is easy and quick to prep, engages your students, and fits within the pedagogical design strategies of successful online instruction.   You will hear examples from faculty in varied disciplines who've tested this approach, their challenges and successes.  At the end of the session you will have a format that can be applied to all of your courses.
