2023-2024 Student Transportation Request Form
In order for the Schoolcraft Community Schools to provide a safe and orderly system, students are required to register for bus service. ALL STUDENTS NEED TO SUBMIT A BUS REQUEST THIS YEAR FOR EACH STUDENT. Students not registered with transportation will not be assigned to a bus. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to identify one (1) pick-up and/or one (1) drop off location for the school year. If you need a second or additional pick up/drop off location, please enter location and days in the "other information" section. The bus stop may or may not be located at home address. However, students will be assigned within the prescribed walking distance.  Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Bus times, Bus numbers, and Bus stop locations are subject to change during the school year. Bus stop times are estimated. Students need to be out and ready 5 minutes before the stop time. We will use the BUS QUEST app for times, updates, and communication. You will receive a link after they have been placed on a bus route.
Special notice to parents or guardians: Pre-K, Young 5’s, and Kindergarten require a parent, guardian, or parent designee at the bus stop.

Basic School Bus Rules

1. Students need to stay 15 feet back from the bus until the bus opens the doors

2. Students that need to cross the road need to wait for the bus to stop and is given permission form the driver to cross; while crossing, watch for traffic and stay 10 feet out in front of the bus. 

3. Never have students run up from behind or alongside the bus.

4. Students need to be at the bus stop 5 minutes early.

5. Parents and other adults are not allowed on the bus at the bus stop. If there is a concern, please call the transportation office (269-488-7395).

6. Students not assigned to ride or a different bus stop the bus needs permission to ride or be dropped off at an unassigned bus stop

7. Students are not allowed to eat on the bus.

8. Students need to sit facing forward. No standing on the bus.

9. Driver has the right to assign seats to students.

10. Inappropriate language and roughhousing will not be tolerated.

11 No heads, hands, feet, and other body parts stuck out the windows.

12 No fighting, smoking, or vaping.
