Anchor Bible College's mission is to train Christians in the knowledge of God's Word and in ministry for His kingdom.
Anchor Bible College is authorized by the office of post-secondary schools in the state of Michigan to offer degrees and operate as a higher education institution as a semi-autonomous division of Hope Community Church provided that the educational programs offered by Anchor Bible College are solely designed for, directed toward, and attended by students preparing for Christian ministry and given the disclaimer that the State of Michigan does not guarantee that any of the degrees or credits granted by Anchor Bible College will be recognized by any organization for any purpose. This means that Anchor Bible College is authorized as a post-secondary school within the state of Michigan but is not regulated by the state of Michigan in the same way as other colleges since Anchor Bible College operates strictly as a religious college.
