It was always the dream of former headmaster, John Thomas Hammond, to have a program/organization that was specifically for the grandparents of Briarwood students. A grandparent of three Briarwood graduates and headmaster of Briarwood for a number of years, Mr. Hammond never saw his dream come to fruition. Friday, March 10th, nearly nine years after Mr. Hammond’s passing, his dream did come true as Briarwood held its' first of hopefully many programs for Briarwood’s Grand-Friends.
