Hodag Tracks-District Virtual Learning Application (DUE DECEMBER 9)
The Hodag Connections Learning Center (HCLC) educational opportunities were expanded this school year to meet the needs of our families during the COVID-19 pandemic by making a virtual learning option available to all as an alternative to in-person learning.
Our virtual learning option is called Hodag Tracks-District. Students meet regularly via Zoom with our school district teachers and/or work with HCLC staff to complete coursework. All students will require some level of adult support at home for this learning option.
Our current in-person learning option is a blended model of in-person and remote learning. This is subject to change at any time based on the COVID-19 situation. It is possible that in-person learning could move to entirely remote if the COVID-19 situation worsens. If the COVID-19 situation improves it is possible that in-person learning could change to four full days in-person at the 6-12 level or to five full days for grades K-12 at some point during the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.
If you wish to avoid this uncertainty or have concerns for your child's health, Hodag Tracks-District may be for you. Be aware that Hodag Tracks-District virtual learning is an entirely different learning experience and you will be required to remain in the Hodag Tracks-District virtual learning program for the entire second semester. If you have any questions you can contact the Hodag Connections Learning Center staff at 715-369-9267.
