Science & Engineering First Gen Video Series Project
This project is in collaboration with UCI Science Project and Ms. Cindy Sevilla Esparza from Michael K. Nunley & Associates. Thank you so much for wanting to support other First Generation students emerging in science and engineering (S&E) related fields. This video series will be accessible through the current UCI Science Project website but housed in a special place called, "S&E First Gen Portal" for students (https://scienceproject.cfep.uci.edu/programs/).

Please consider contributing a 5-minute video and address the following:
1- Can you tell us about your journey into science or engineering as a First Gen?
2- Can you share any academic/personal/professional challenges and how you overcame?
3- Are there any tips or pieces of advice you wish you were given?
4- Any ways that you figured out how to be successful in this field either personally, academically, or professionally?

Videos can be recorded at home, outside, at your place of work (which would be amazing for students to see if safe during covid), etc. Feel free to use your phone, screencastify, zoom screen recording, etc.

Hearing your story can inspire other First Gen students, so we would appreciate if you could upload your video to the Google Drive as soon as possible. Please upload the video here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1s05vEOYmXCIlS1jvzIpvOTqebDcOj9Sp?usp=sharing
