Farmers Market Fund Board Interest Form
We are a non-profit organization looking for potential board members to share their life experiences, skills, and ideas with us.

We make healthy, locally grown fruits and vegetables accessible to families and individuals throughout Oregon who are food insecure. Due to the pandemic, the need for our program has more than doubled and FMF has stepped up to meet the challenge.

We are looking for passionate and committed individuals to join our board and support our mission of providing healthy fresh foods to Oregonians experiencing food insecurity.

FMF's main program is Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB), a SNAP matching program at farmers markets across Oregon. We believe DUFB is a triple win: families bring home more fruits and veggies, small and mid-sized farmers get a financial boost, and Oregon's economy thrives.

This is an exciting time of growth for FMF. Thanks to state and federal funding, as well as generous partners and individual donors, we have expanded DUFB to farmers markets in every corner of the state as well as to select grocery stores and farm shares.

FMF is run by a small staff and an active board of directors. We are excited to grow our board with members from across Oregon who share our passion for supporting local farms and ensuring all Oregonians have access to nutritious, locally-grown fruits and veggies.

Board members can expect to volunteer 2- 6 hours of their time per month through participation in board meetings and committee meetings. Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month; committee meetings are less frequent and based on necessity and availability.

Our success lies in our diversity: we encourage all community members with different backgrounds, experiences, and passions to apply.
