Refuge Worldwide Jingle Workshop w/ Gabriel Gifford
An introduction to music production and audio editing through jingles! Learn how to create soundbites, artist ‘tags’, adverts, and more for personal projects. The workshop explores using the basics of Ableton Live, to record, manipulate, and collage audio ready for broadcast.

The session will be held by Berlin-based producer, engineer, and Refuge resident, Gabriel Gifford. Gabriel has been hosting, producing, and editing radio shows on Noods Radio, Radio Alhara, and Refuge Worldwide for over three years. Since studying Music Production in Bristol, UK, Gabriel now works as a producer, artist, mix engineer and tutor in Berlin. His own productions and collaborations have also had airtime on stations such as BBC Radio 1, KCRW, and NTS.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have their own bespoke broadcast-ready product, and a base understanding of working to a brief, audio editing, voice recording, and creative use of audio effects in Ableton Live.

Time: Monday 27th Sep from 5 pm - 8 pm
