In the meantime, here's more on our upcoming Ecosystem Event at the Skoll World Forum (on April 8):
Localization is now and international organizations can reduce their Power Footprints. For the past 5+ years, 200+ proximate leaders with local organizations in 30+ countries have successfully co-created and implemented an effective, replicable and sustainable localization model. We want to share our key success factors and invite participants to share their insights on localization. We’ll highlight how the model can be adopted to expand locally-led action globally. We’ll introduce the Power Footprint concept and host breakout sessions with participants to explore how best to develop and adopt practical metrics to measure our power footprints. By power we mean authority, control and influence. Outcomes will include a key findings position-paper and a commitment to develop adoptable metrics at follow-up event(s). Speakers: Sonja B. (WeR), Lorena G. D. (Ashoka), Arbie B. (Re-Imagining Aid), Chrisanta M. (One Girl), Queen N. (Flying Labs), Truls N. (Save the Children), Patrick M. (WeR).
