INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCHEDULING A RECITAL

TIMELINE - IMPORTANT - Students may not submit their request until the stated time below. Any form submitted prior to that time will have to be submitted.

SPRING RECITALS - 2020

-December 2, 2019 - 7:00 a.m. - All full-length solo recitals (both degree-required full recitals and degree-required half recitals in which two students have arranged to perform together on one recital).

-December 4, 2019 - 7:00 a.m. - Individual degree-required half recitals may be placed on the calendar beginning the third day after full recitals.

-December 9, 2019 - 7:00 a.m. - Elective Recitals

1. Check date availability and, if possible, come up with three date choices: http://www.uidaho.edu/class/music/student-resources/student-recitals
2. If you are sharing a recital (two half combined half-recitals), please ONLY FILL OUT ONE FORM. Make sure that you have spoken with your recital partner and have agreed on dates that work for both of you, your major professors and accompanists.
3. After this form is submitted, the music administrative assistant hold the available and requested recital date and will e-mail all parties involved for confirmation of availability. Once confirmation is received from all parties, the recital will be published to the online calendar or events. If a response is not received from all parties within two weeks, the date may be forfeit and reassigned to another party.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Recital dates will be assigned on a first-come, first served basis. Therefore, you should select several possible dates in case your first choice date has already been reserved for someone else. Only one date will be reserved, so make sure that your choices are in priority order.
