Thanks for your interest in the Hindi Writing Masterclass with Manav Kaul.

This workshop will be conducted by Manav Kaul, an award-winning Indian theatre director, playwright, author, actor, and filmmaker and and Chetan Mahajan, co-founder of the Himalayan Writing Retreat. Chetan is published with Penguin, and has written for The Mint, HT Brunch, Outlook Magazine, Hindu Business Line and the Reader's Digest.

This form helps us get to know you better as a writer, and also as a fit for this workshop. If you are a newbie and do not have a writing sample handy, please put a sample down and share it. Don't worry too much about the quality of writing - we're more interested in your command over language.

This workshop is designed for novice-intermediate level writers of all languages.

This Masterclass is offered only at the Himalayas and will be held once a year only.

The fees for attending the workshop at the Himalayan Writing Retreat is INR 40,000/- (this includes 4 nights twin-shared stay, all meals etc.). Taxes included.

We encourage participants to stay on and write immediately after the workshop to make the most of the learning. To aid this we offer single rooms at 4.5k/night or 28k/week for longer stays.
