1. Love Jesus and have a growing relationship with Him
• Spending time with God growing in relationship with Him. (Christian Community, Reading Bible, Prayer, etc.)

• Regular attendance at a church in Bryan/College Station

• Committed to growth (spiritual, emotional/relational, intellectual/academic),

• Is Faithful, Available, shows Initiative, Teachable, Heart for God. F.A.I.T.H.

3. Lives out a life in Christ, dependent on grace while taking steps of faith towards holiness
• Every leader must be discipled by someone and meet on a weekly basis with a discipler, preferably on staff with Valor.

• Leaders must be willing to seek reconciliation with others. If there is strife between leaders, Cadets, staff, etc, they must be willing to engage in asking for forgiveness or take steps to begin to forgive others.

• Seeking to live a holy (set apart) life in line with God's commands in the Bible. This does not mean you have to be perfect, none of us are, but it does mean that we are taking steps to live in accordance with God's commands.

Some examples:

Obeying the laws and authorities placed over us, not engaging in under age drinking, etc.
Not drinking in excess or becoming drunk if you are over 21
Not engaging in sexual interactions or relationships outside marriage
Living in line with God's view of sexuality (Choosing to take and identity in Christ over one of sex)
