CITTA Mall - Fashion Fusion: Family Edition 

CITTA Mall is pleased to announce the CITTA Mall - Fashion Fusion: Family Edition fashion contest ("Event") on 18 May 2024, starting at 7:30pm.

This form serves as your official registration. Aside from that, please note that all participants must register in person on the day of the contest between 6:00pm and 7:15pm.

Terms and Conditions

1. Pre-register by completing this Google form; no participation fees apply.


2. There will be only one (1) category for this contest, which is a competition by pairs, i.e. each team must consist of one (1) child and one (1) adult. The contest is open to all children aged 12 and below (born after 1 January 2012 accompanied by either their parents or guardians, who must be above 18 years of age.

Each parent or guardian is allowed to team up with one of their children and participate as a pair throughout the competition. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

3.    The theme of the fashion contest is "Porcelain”. Participants are able to freely interpret the theme howsoever they wish, though ultimately, the judges will make the final decision on whether or not the outfits align with the theme. For reference, participants may look up Maison Margiela's Spring 2024 collection which features "glass skin" makeup by Pat McGrath, or designer Guo Pei's "Blue and Porcelain" gown for her "1002 Nights" 2010 collection. Participants are further advised that a large portion of the scores awarded will be based on their adherence to and interpretation of the theme, which will be subject to the judges' ultimate assessment.


4.    Participants are expected to remain respectful and tasteful throughout the competition vis-à-vis their outfits and stage acts. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any participant that they deem to have dressed inappropriately for this family-friendly competition.


5. There will be one (1) round in this competition where participants are required to perform a simple catwalk, introduce themselves, and share the concept of their fashion choices with the judges.


6.    Participants will be judged based on the following criteria:
(i) Self-introduction (“Do they articulate themselves well? Are they lively?”) – 20%
(ii) Costume (“Is it aesthetically pleasing? Does it match the theme?”) – 40%
(iii) Appearance (“Are they well-groomed? Do they look presentable?”) – 20%
(iv) Catwalk (“Are there any creative poses? Do they walk confidently?”) – 20%


7. Prizes for the contest:
Champion : RM300 worth of cash and prizes*
1st runner-up : RM200 worth of cash and prizes*
2nd runner-up : RM100 worth of cash and prizes*
Consolation(x5) : RM50 worth of prizes each
*Comprised of 50% Cash & 50% Prizes


8. By participating in the Event, all participants agree and acknowledge that:
a. Participants are in a good state of health to take part in the Event.

b. It is the responsibility of participants to report his/her injury or illness to the Organiser or Judges prior to the event.

c. If at any time before or during the Event a participant is ill, injured, or is jeopardising their physical and emotional condition by participating in the Event, he/she may be declared ineligible to compete, or disqualified from competing any further.

d. The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw any participant who appears to have a serious disability, injury, or requires medical attention.

e. Participants must have their parents' or legal guardians' consent to take part in the Event. All other relevant permissions from any institutions have already been obtained (if applicable).

f. None of the participants are legally bound by contract to any talent agencies, sponsors or organisations.

g. Judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence on scoring will be entertained.

h. In the highly unlikely event of any accident throughout the Event, the Organiser and all its agencies related will not be held liable.

i. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at the event without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. The Organiser may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by it including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.

j. By participating in the Event, participants hereby grant permission for the Organiser to share their contact information with its partners and sponsors for any commercial or non-commercial related purposes. 
The Organisers may collect, obtain, store and process the Participant’s Personal Data that he/she provides in this form to receive updates, news, promotional and marketing mail or materials from the Organisers.

9. Respect and Courtesy
Participants are expected to be kind and courteous towards fellow participants, event organisers, judges, and crew members. Bullying, harassment, or the use of abusive language towards anyone involved in the event will not be tolerated. 

10. By participating in this contest, participants hereby wholeheartedly accept the final decision made by the judges and will agree to display good sportsmanship behaviour throughout and after the contest, regardless or the outcome of the contest. Those who have been deemed to disrupt the regular proceedings of this family friendly event may be barred from participating in future events. 

11. The Organiser reserves the rights to alter any parts of the terms and conditions above without prior notice.

These Terms & Conditions are designed to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all participants and to protect the interests of the event organisers and affiliated parties. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in immediate disqualification or removal from the event, as determined by the event organisers.
