LARC Tutorial Leader Application 2024-2025

Job Description:
  • Lead 3 – 4 tutorials which meet twice a week for 50 minutes each in a fun small group setting.
  • Lead collaborative activities to aid in remembering concepts, and creating study tools.
  • Hourly rate is $21.28**, 10-14 hours per week. **effective 10/1/24 & subject to increase per Academic Student Employee union contract.
Position Requirements:
  • Full-time Undergraduate student at UCI willing to work 3 consecutive quarters
  • At least a B and ability to attend the course you want to support
  • 3.00 Overall GPA
  • Enrollment in Uni Stu 175: Methods in Small Group Instruction (Tuesdays 2-3:50pm)
You will be paid for:
  • Staff meetings (2 hours per quarter)
  • Attend 3 hours of lectures for the course you support 
  • 3 to 4 (50 minute) tutorials, meet twice per week
  • 4 to 6 hours of Review Sessions
  • Week 0 Orientation
