ALRIGHT FILMMAKERS! You have 72-hours to make a film! 3....2....1....Go!
The 72-hour Film Competition welcomes emerging and established filmmakers of all ages to compete and create short films over a 72 hour period (March 13– March 16) that will be celebrated with a showcase party on Wednesday, March 18th from 12-1:30pm in the Knight Auditorium.
The 72-hour film festival is open to all NSU students!
How it works:
---Register your team (up to 5 participants) or sign up as a solo filmmaker competitor using this google form.
---All teams will meet in the Don Taft University Center at 5:00pm on March 13th to receive the official film festival packet to begin filming. (If you are unable to make the pick up date and time, please contact
ck864@nova.edu)
---All Teams have 72 hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film.
---Films must be no more than 8 minutes long.
---Films must incorporate elements surrounding the film festival topic (Topic will be provided in the official film festival packet on March 13th).
---Finalized projects are due by 5:00pm on Monday, March 16th (Further instructions will be in the official film festival packet).
---A panel of judges will review all films to determine multiple awards.
---All submitted films will be screened in the Knight Auditorium at NSU for friends, family and colleagues to come watch.
---Prizes will be awarded to at the showcase.
