College of Engineering - sTAtics Jedi and CircuiTAtor Application
Engineering Tutoring is looking for qualified candidates to join the sTAtics Jedi and CircuiTAtor teams for fall 2020! These positions combine the responsibilities of a TA and a Tutor to offer a comprehensive support structure for students enrolled in Statics and Circuits. sTAtics Jedi and CircuiTAtors work ten hours per week at $15/hour. Training will be provided at the beginning of the fall semester.

sTAtics Jedi and CircuiTAtors are separate positions within Engineering Tutoring, but have the same application process. In the application, applicants will be able to indicate whether they would like to be considered for the sTAtics Jedi position, the CircuiTAtor position, or both positions.

QUALIFICATIONS: Interested applicants must:
Be enrolled as an undergraduate student in the College of Engineering.
Obtain an A- in Statics (ENGR:2110) or Electrical Circuits (ENGR:2120) from UI.
Maintain Academic Good Standing with a UI cumulative and semester GPA of 3.00+
Demonstrate knowledge and competence in Statics or Circuits.
Collaborate with a team (peers and professors), showing individual initiative as needed.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Have a positive and respectful attitude in working with a diverse population.
Be willing to speak positively about the College of Engineering and University of Iowa.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student records and conversations, as appropriate.

**Note: If you are currently taking the course and do not have a final grade, you may be considered for a position contingent on successfully meeting the minimum grade requirement.
