Every year the PTA asks parents to update their contact information. This year we are also:
1. Doing a "back to school" fundraiser to support distribution of school supplies  
2. Providing a list of volunteer opportunities that will support the PTA's activities

Our goal is that 70% of BHIS families are on the mailing list.  We hope that this will maximize participation in PTA activities by parents and children.

Supporting the PTA comes with no specific commitment but allows you to play an even more active role in your child’s school experience. While neither regular attendance or membership dues are required, both are welcomed. Any volunteer time and money you can provide will help support important programs at the school and increase our ability to communicate with the school administration, the teachers and you!

1) Cada año el PTA pide a los padres actualizar la información de sus contactos. Éste año también:
1. Harémos un "regreso a clases" recaudación de fondos para apoyar la distribución de útiles escolares
2. Otorgaremos una lista de oportunidades para voluntarios como apoyo a las actividades del PTA

Nuestro objetivo es que el 70% de las familias de BHIS estén en la lista de correos. Esperamos que eso ayude a aumentar la participación en las actividades del PTA de padres e hijos.

Apoyar al PTA no implica compromisos específicos pero permitea tener una participación más activa en la experiencia escolar de sus hijos. Así como no es requerida su asistencia regular ni pago de membresias, los dos se agradecen. Cualquier tiempo y dinero que usted pueda proveer como voluntario ayudará al apoyo de programas importantes en la escuela y aumentará nuestra habilidad de comunicarse con la administración de la escuela, los maestros y ustedes!
