Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at Christkindlmarket Des Moines taking place December 2 - 5, 2021 at Principal Park, Main Lot in Downtown Des Moines, IA.

The quality of a traditional Christmas market depends on maintaining a high standard of the vendor products it offers. Christkindlmarket Des Moines is dedicated to immersing visitors in a world of folklore and craftsmanship as well as enticing them with traditional, seasonal culinary specialties to provide a family-friendly experience filled with European elegance and charm.

What is the timeline for the application process? (1 - 4 BELOW MUST BE COMPLETED BY June 1, 2021 AT MIDNIGHT FOR YOUR APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED)

1. Fill out the online application found at http://www.christkindlmarketdsm.com/vendors/vendor-application.
2. Fill out the electricity request form at http://www.christkindlmarketdsm.com/vendors/vendor-application and email to christkindlmarketdsm@gmail.com. Vendors can make payment once they are accepted to participate.
3. Send photographs (product group shots are acceptable) representing all the items you would like to sell, with descriptions as applicable) to christkindlmarketdsm@gmail.com.
4. Food trucks, trailers and demonstrations: Email a visual layout with measurements of the footprint you need (including space you may require around your structures), the measurements of all structures and photos of your food truck, trailer or demonstration set up (if possible) to christkindlmarketdsm@gmail.com.

You will receive feedback regarding application status from CDM vendor committee by June 15, 2021.

If you would like to pre-sell your products for pickup at your vendor space at Christkindlmarket Des Moines, please provide at least one of the following: online store website, phone number, email address, or additional information so we can include on our website, social media and other promotional efforts.
Food Vendors: What type of packaging do you serve food in? (Compostable, sourced from recycled materials, biodegradable, plastic, styrofoam, etc.)
Food Vendors: Have you implemented any internal sustainability practices that you can share? (Use of recycled materials, use of renewable energy for production, strong community involvement beyond sales opportunities, noteworthy employee programs, etc.)
Food Vendors: Have you participated in any sustainability programs or received recognition for your sustainability efforts?
I am willing and able to furnish proof of insurance before Christkindlmarket Des Moines acceptance. Applicants do not need to show proof of a policy upon submitting application but will be required to provide a certificate of insurance prior to final acceptance. Vendor agrees to purchase and provide Certificate of General Commercial Liability insurance with $1,000,000 limits and name Des Moines European Heritage Association as Additional Insured and Certificate Holder. Certificate must be on file with Christkindlmarket Des Moines management prior to vending. Applicants can submit Certificate of General Commercial Liability Insurance to: christkindlmarketdsm@gmail.com or 37 Liberty Bell Blvd, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327. *

I am eligible, have read, understand, and agree to comply with all Christkindlmarket Des Moines rules and regulations as specified by Des Moines European Heritage Association as per their published Vendor Information Guide. Special attention by the vendor will be given to Iowa sales tax obligations, food safety licenses and permits and fire extinguishers for food vendors.
