High School: Community Assessment for Professionals
Thank you for your consideration in completing this survey. We are a group of students pursuing Bachelor Degrees in Social Work and Public Health at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. We are supporting Atherton YMCA programs and services and are interested in exploring how COVID-19 has impacted high school teens and their relationships.

This survey aims to analyze how COVID-19 has impacted high school students and their relationships from the perspective of an educator. This survey is 100% anonymous and optional with no incentives to participate.

Studies have shown that major topics that affect healthy relationships among high school students include mental well-being, substance use, physical exercise, and other risky behaviors. The sudden shift in the world around us and in our daily lives has created or exacerbated some of these factors, and we aim to better understand these changes in relation to social isolation during this pandemic. The results of this survey will help the YMCA better understand how young people have been impacted, how they are coping and what they may need to allow the YMCA to explore and create new opportunities to continue to support teens in upcoming Spring programs.
