Over a 24 hour period from the 23rd September to the 24th September, member, friends, family and supports of the club will attempt to scale Mount Everest as many times as they can and raise money for charity.
This year we are taking on the infamous Hatton Road, better known as The Morning Trail.
Mount Everest Height = 8850m
Hatton Road Height = 2800m
24.5 ascents of the Morning Trial will be equal to ONE Everest
The challenge is to climb THIRTY EVERESTS surpassing last years number of 24, which mean we are aiming for 737.5 ascents of the Morning Trial.
Grab your team mates or friends, form a group of 4 to 8 climbers and tackle the climb together. Participants will chose a 2 hour time slot to climb as many Everest's as you can. For those of you that would like a casual stroll and contribute to a climb, please also feel free to come down. For those of you that want to stay longer, by all means do so!
Each climber contributes to a climb - we have 737.5 climbs to power through. For more up to date information, be sure to follow Valley RFC's Instagram and Facebook pages.
